چکیده
Objectives: To compare the follow-up results of a sacrospinous ligament fixation (SSLF) technique for laparoscopic bilateral vagina to iliopectineal via PVDF-mesh (laparoscopic pectopexy technique, LP) in terms cure rate and postoperative complications rate. Material methods: This prospective study included 160 patients diagnosed with pelvic organ prolapse stage II–IV according POP-Q system. Eighty-two (51.25%) underwent vaginal seventy-eight (48.75%) procedure. Results: The was high both groups, 95.12% (78 out 82) SSLF group 93.59% (73 78) LP were cured post surgery, leading an overall 151 patients. Pelvic pain present 5.00% all patients, but notably more frequent (7, 8.54%) than (1, 1.28%). Dyspareunia occurred 4.37% slightly frequently (6, 7.32%) 1.28%), without significant difference. Conclusions: procedure has comparably positive conventional Both are effective treatment prolapse, favorable anatomical subjective results, low rates serious complications.

Objective. To investigate the differences in efficacy, postoperative complications, and patient satisfaction between posterior intravaginal slingplasty (PIVS) and unilateral sacrospinous ligament fixation (SSLF) procedures. Study Design. A retrospective study of thirty-three women who underwent PIVS or SSLF treatment for vaginal vault prolapse in Oulu University Hospital. The patients were invi...
متن کاملLaparoscopic sacrocolpopexy versus vaginal sacrospinous fixation for vaginal vault prolapse, a randomized controlled trial: SALTO-2 trial, study protocol
BACKGROUND Hysterectomy is one of the most performed surgical procedures during lifetime. Almost 10 % of women who have had a hysterectomy because of prolapse symptoms, will visit a gynaecologist for a surgical correction of a vaginal vault prolapse thereafter. Vaginal vault prolapse can be corrected by many different surgical procedures. A Cochrane review comparing abdominal sacrocolpopexy to ...

OBJECTIVE To share our first experience with laparoscopic pectopexy, a new technique for apical prolapse surgery, and to evaluate the feasibility of this technique. MATERIALS AND METHODS Seven patients with apical prolapse underwent surgery with laparoscopic pectopexy. The lateral parts of the iliopectineal ligament were used for a bilateral mesh fixation of the descended structures. The medi...
